Originally constructed in 1930, 224 Burley Road began life as a home to a family printing business, and continued as such for several decades.
Over time Alfred Harrison and Sons began to specialise in carton and box printing which was the inspiration around the current name. Over the years the building has been home to various businesses with the 80s seeing it as an HQ of Sandring LTD who specialised in storage equipment manufacturing. Their business grew as they became recognised as a global specialist in their field. By the early noughties they had outgrown the site and following their residency sadly the building stood empty and neglected for over 13 years.
In 2018, Leeds Property Group had the privilege of acquiring this architectural gem, and since then we’ve transformed it into an operational hub for our business. We deeply cherish the building’s historical significance to our local community and see ourselves as custodians as well as owners. Rest assured, there are no plans to bid farewell to this iconic structure. Quite the opposite, we’re wholeheartedly dedicated to celebrating and preserving its rich heritage, keeping it as a cherished landmark at the heart of our community. We hold the building’s history dear and are committed to nurturing it and breathing new life into this well-loved space.
